Gratitude Necklace
This bold and captivating pebble-shaped lampwork bead from Carol Holaday (CarolHoladay.com) serves as the focal for this unique one-of-a-kind choker. On each side are old African copper multi-faceted beads with a great aged patina. In between the copper beads are African matte silver disc spacers. All are strung on dark rust brown Greek leather, known for it’s smooth finish, consistent color and extra soft & supple texture from the very first time it’s worn. This gorgeous bead is made with a solid layer of Raku glass that is then heated and cooled to develop a range of colors and then rolled in clear frit to give the rain drop texture and the unique color change under the clear. The crimps at the ends and the lobster clasp are all sterling silver. I’ve included pictures of both sides of this wonderful Lampwork Glass bead so that you can see the amazing colors. Copper is an excellent energy conductor and sends and amplifies thoughts. It can open the heart center and thereby create total awareness of the self and generate a capacity for tremendous psycho-spiritual self-confidence and growth. Physiologically it is believed that Copper helps all forms of rheumatism, arthritis, and disorders of the intestinal tract. Copper also strengthens the Pineal and Pituitary glands and increases flexibility of bone tissue such as ligaments, cartilages, and tendons. This can aid in the prevention of injury for those who are athletes. Energetically speaking, Copper is highly conductive and also activates the body’s electro-magnetic properties and sends and amplifies thoughts. Copper’s conductive energies are at the heart of it’s power, both physically and spiritually. Because this crystal metal doesn’t hold a charge, but instead, sends or conducts it on, it is a very useful for projecting and directing energy and healing work. The old copper beads compliment the colors in the glass and they all dance together beautifully! Carol is an amazing artist and it’s inspiring to work with her beads. Choker length--15 1/2 inches. A 2-inch extender chain may be added below.
