Three groups of stunning deep indigo blue Keishi Petal Pearls with their great organic shapes hang from sterling silver chain and earwires.

Flower petal pearls form in the cup left by the removal of a pearl in the first harvesting. This allows pearls nacre to form in the depression, creating a cup-shaped or petal pearl. The second harvesting then yields delicate colors and wonderful petal shapes. Petal pearls take two to three years to form. Due to the growing conditions these lovely little pearls aren't always available. Pearls come fine-finished directly from nature. Because of their natural beauty, they are associated with the matrix of life and some say that the pearl helps balance one’s bodily rhythms and hormonal levels with lunar cycles. They are said to harmonize one’s life with the rhythms of the natural world. Having what appears to be an inward glow, some claim that pearls can be used to help tap inner wisdom and to nurture the growth of love.
