Kahana Falls (Pastels) Bracelet

Five gorgeous pieces of pastel Sea Glass hang delicately from sterling silver link chain. Included are beautiful and rare Seafoam Green and more common White and in the center a piece of extremely rare & stunning Bright Turquoise . Between some of the sea glass are a sterling silver Seashell and Sea Turtle charms and two lovely irridescent Abalone Shell coins. At the clasp is a lovely pair of pearls for just a bit more ocean energy!

Beach or Sea Glass is natural found glass that has been tumbled by shifting sands and the tumbling ocean waves and tossed back up onto the beach to be discovered by those patient enough to hunt for it. It resembles precious gems with its frosted surface and rounded edges and stunning colors. Important features are both the colors of the glass (as some are more rare) and the amount of total wear and rounding of its surface. Discovered in the shifting tides these well-worn glass pieces can take several decades to develop the soft round edges and at least 50 to 100 years for a thick piece to become the treasure we hunt for. The use of Sea Glass in jewelry has increased as theses lovely gems become more scarce. I’ve found it almost a meditation to sit in one place as the sun warms my back and the scent of the clean ocean air soothes my soul….watching as each wave brings me new treasures to discover.

Within the family of Blue colors of Sea Glass, Turquoise is considered the most rare. Some collectors consider this color their most prized and the odds of finding this color can be as infrequent as one in every 2000-5000 pieces. I have a limited number of these pieces and will be using them until they're gone and may never have them again.

Silver can be used as a mirror to the soul and help you see yourself from the outside without judgement. It is used often with gemstones because it’s able to both attract and retain those qualities that are emitted by the stone and provides a steadying influence for the jewel.
