*SOLD* Drifting Sand Necklace
What a winning color combination of cremes, golds and greens in this distinctive Kazuri bead necklace. Spaced between are African copper beads to set off the colors of the Kazuri. The toggle clasp is also copper. Copper is an excellent energy conductor and sends and amplifies thoughts. It can open the heart center and thereby create total awareness of the self and generate a capacity for tremendous psycho-spiritual self-confidence and growth. Physiologically it is believed that Copper helps all forms of rheumatism, arthritis, and disorders of the intestinal tract. Copper also strengthens the Pineal and Pituitary glands and increases flexibility of bone tissue such as ligaments, cartilages, and tendons. This can aid in the prevention of injury for those who are athletes. Energetically speaking, Copper is highly conductive and also activates the body’s electro-magnetic properties and sends and amplifies thoughts. Copper’s conductive energies are at the heart of it’s power, both physically and spiritually. Because this crystal metal doesn’t hold a charge, but instead, sends or conducts it on, it is a very useful for projecting and directing energy and healing work. These colorful Kazuri ceramic beads are created by African women in a workshop located at the base of the Ngong Hills in Kenya from Mt. Kenya clay. What began as a social cause to help a few women in Kenya has grown into an entire jewelry business, employing more than 80 women and helping countless local families escape poverty. Each ceramic bead is carefully polished, fired, painted and polished again. The result is Kazuri, which means small and beautiful in Swahili. What amazingly beautiful beads and an opportunity for each of us to make a difference on the planet. Length--18 1/2 inches.
