Living Waters Necklace
Graceful rondelles of Blue Kyanite are perched between groupings of tiny Hill Tribe Silver beads and stunning faceted Lapis Lazuli beads. At the center is a beautiful handmade Hill Tribe Silver Starfish pendant. On each side is dark rust brown Greek leather, known for it’s smooth finish, consistent color and extra soft & supple texture from the very first time it’s worn. The crimps at the ends and the lobster clasp are all sterling silver. The piece is finished with a sterling silver extender chain repeating the theme of Lapis and Hill Tribe silver beads and a silver Sea Turtle charm. Kyanite is excellent for attunement and meditation and is one of my favorite stones to work with. It is tranquilizing and a powerful transmitter and amplifier of high frequency energies, stimulating psychic abilities and the intuition. This stone connects to spirit guides and instills compassion. It’s grounding spiritual vibrations brings spiritual integrity and maturation. It facilitates dream recall and promotes healing dreams. Kyanite is helpful for those making the transition through death. As Kyanite does not hold negativity it never requires cleaning or clearing. Psychologically Kyanite encourages speaking one’s truth, cutting through fears and blockages. Opening the throat chakra, this stone encourages self-expression and communication. Lapis facilitates opening the chakras and enhances mental clarity, illumination and psychic abilities. It helps one to communicate with their Higher Self and Spirit guides. In Christian symbolism the Starfish represents the Virgin Mary (Stella Maris which means Star of the Sea) who lovingly creates safe travel over troubled waters and is also seen as an emblem of salvation during trying times. The star as well as the Starfish are seen as celestial symbols and as such, they represent infinite divine love. In addition to love, the Starfish also holds characteristics such as guidance, vigilance, inspiration, brilliance and intuition. Also according to legend, starfish are reflections of stars in the sky inhabiting the ocean floor. Symbolizing rebirth, starfish have a remarkable ability for regeneration. If a starfish is cut in half, two starfish will grow. An illustration of equality and teamwork, each of the limbs of the starfish work together for the benefit of the whole. Silver can be used as a mirror to the soul and help you see yourself from the outside without judgment. It is used often with gemstones because it’s able to both attract and retain those qualities that are emitted by the stone and provides a steadying influence for the jewel. Hill Tribe silver is pure, fine silver (.999) produced under fair trade regulations by a group of Karen Hill Tribe villagers in Northern Thailand.
